Welcome to this summer’s highlight for all trainers! On July 12th Scandsports is arranging a coaching seminar at Ullevaal Stadium with the theme: how to develop players for Premier League, and how to develop female top football players. Learn from first class speakers from Leeds United, Manchester United and Danish top football.
NB! One of the ticket packages also gives access to the Supporters Match between Manchester United and Leeds United, which takes place the same day just after the seminar.
Programme for the day:
- Introduction to Leeds United’s academy model from their own academy manager, Adam Underwood.
- Katrine Pedersen, former professional football player and perhaps Denmarks most acknowledged female fotball ekspert, talks about: female athletes’ journey to reach the top.
- Panel debate: how to develop players for the top tire leagues in the world? In the panel you will meet the fotball legend Ronny Johnsen, the sport director of Lillestrøm football club Simon Mesfin, and a surprise representantive fra Manchester United.
- Freddy dos Santos will host the whole seminar.

Adam Underwood
The acadamy manager of Leeds United. Underwood has been with Leeds United since 2009 and has been responsible for players like Pascal Struijk, Sam Greenwood, Crysencio Summerville and Kalvin Phillips has taken the leap up to the first team at Elland Road.
Katrine Pedersen
Danish football trainer and former professional player. Pedersen has played in Denmark, England, Australia, Sweden and Norway, and has 210 international matches for Denmark. She has also for many years been coaching at the Norway School of Elite Sports (Norges Toppidrettsseminar).
Ronny Johnsen
Former professional player with 99 matches for Manchester United and 62 international matches for Norway. Johnsen is now assistant trainer for the female U23-national team
Simon Mesfin
Norwegian fotball leader and former fotball player. Mesfin has from 2017 been the sports director for Lillestrøm SK.
Freddy dos Santos
Former Norwegian football player who has played 359 matches for Molde, Vålerenga and Skeid. Today dos Santos is working for Norwegian Top Football Association. Freddy dos Santos will host the whole coaching seminar at Ullevaal Stadium

A representantive from Manchester United will attend the panel debate ending the seminar.
